Plus Size Patella Knee Strap - Adjustable Patellar Tendon Support Band for Men and Women

The Plus Size Patellar Tendon Support Strap Made to Fit Bigger Knees

If your knees ache by the end of the day, or that sharp pain just below your kneecap shows up every time you take the stairs, you're not alone. And if you've ever ordered a knee strap that barely made it around your leg, you already know how frustrating it is when "one size fits most" doesn't fit you.

Maybe you've tried tightening a strap as far as it would go, only to have it dig in, roll down or pop open halfway through your walk. Maybe you've given up and just pushed through the pain. Either way, you deserve support that was built with your body in mind from the very start.

Our Plus Size Patella Knee Strap comes in sizes L to 3XL and fits knees that measure 15 to 25 inches around, directly under the kneecap. It gives you focused, adjustable support right where the pain starts, so you can keep walking, working and doing the things you love.

It's the same patellar tendon strap our customers already count on, now offered in a lineup made just for plus size knees. Men and women both wear it, and one strap fits either your left or right knee.

How This Patella Knee Strap Brings Knee Pain Relief Right Below the Kneecap

Pain in the front of the knee often comes from stress on the patellar tendon, the band that connects your kneecap to your shin. Every step, squat and stair puts load on that tendon. When it's irritated, everyday movements like getting out of a chair or walking across a parking lot start to hurt.

This strap has a rubberized, tubular compression pad that sits directly below your kneecap. When you tighten the strap, the pad presses gently on the tendon to help take pressure off the knee. That targeted support is what makes a knee strap different from a sleeve: it works on one specific spot instead of squeezing your whole leg.

Here's what that looks like in your day:

• Less strain on the tendon with every step, stair and squat

• Soothing warmth and compression from premium-grade soft loop neoprene

• Support you can feel without a bulky brace covering your entire knee

Runner's Knee, Jumper's Knee and Patellar Tendonitis: Who This Knee Strap Helps

This plus size knee band is designed to support the patellar tendon for a range of common front-of-knee conditions, including:

• Runner's knee

• Jumper's knee

• Patellar tendonitis

• Patellofemoral pain syndrome

• Chondromalacia

• Tibial tuberosity pain

• Osgood-Schlatter symptoms in adults

Whether your pain shows up while walking, standing, running or jumping, a patellar tendon strap can help ease the pressure. Osgood-Schlatter pain usually fades after the growing years, but in rare cases adults continue to have symptoms. If that sounds like you, this strap is an easy, low-profile way to support the area below your kneecap.

Knee pain can have many causes. If yours lingers, talk with your doctor to confirm what's going on and how a strap can fit into your plan.

5 Reasons You'll Love This Adjustable Knee Strap

•

You control the pressure. Thread the fastener strap through the D-ring and pull until it feels just right. Loosen it when you sit down, snug it up before a walk. You decide how much support you need.

•

It stays where you put it. The inside of the band has a non-slip interior that grips your skin, so you're not stopping every few minutes to pull it back into place.

•

It's thin and low profile. At about 2 inches tall, it slips under pants and doesn't feel bulky like a full knee brace. You keep your full range of motion.

•

It's gentle on sensitive skin. The strap is made from latex-free, premium-grade soft loop neoprene that adds soothing warmth along with compression.

•

It's reusable. If you've been taping your knee before activities, this strap is an easy replacement you can put on and take off again and again.

Will It Fit? Finding Your Size in This Plus Size Knee Brace for Women and Men

This is the question we hear most from plus size customers, and it's the reason this strap exists. A lot of knee straps are made with average-size legs in mind. If yours are a little bigger, that usually means a strap that pinches, rolls or won't close at all. This one comes in four sizes, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL, so you can pick the size that matches your knee instead of hoping a universal strap stretches far enough.

Finding your size takes about a minute:

• Grab a soft, flexible tape measure.

• Wrap it around your leg directly under your kneecap, right where the strap will sit.

• Note the measurement in inches and match it to the size chart on this page.

• If you fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size for a more secure fit.

The strap fits best against bare skin, where the non-slip interior can grip. You can wear it over tight pants or leggings if you need to.
