Three fumes, one ornate box. Gothic Gourmands Set brings Pistachio, Cognac Reign and Black Magenta together in 10 mL eau de parfum sprays. A festive dessert table at the holiday party, for your nose.
Pistachio is a warm gourmand of nutty green grounds, vanilla creme and patchouli. It opens on pistachio, cardamom and raw sugar, turns toastier with roasted almond, then settles on warm musk and vanilla creme. True to the nut rather than to a dessert. Amber gourmand, intensity 3 of 5 on the D.S. & Durga scale.
Cognac Reign opens on caramelized bergamot and antique wood, burnt sugar over old timber. The heart brings cognac essence and concrete of orris, boozy and powdery together. The base rests on tonka and Limousin oak, sweet and barrel-dry. It’s baroque, baby. Wood gourmand, intensity 4 of 5.
Black Magenta opens on pink pineapple, galbanum and black pepper, tropical glow cut with green bitterness. The heart brings orris concrete, magenta dianthus and orange flower. The base rests on black amber, Balkan tobacco and sandalwood. Pair with loud music, as instructed. Amber, intensity 4 of 5.
