Truthear GATE – 10mm Dynamic Driver IEM

Truthear GATE: Dynamic IEM with Balanced Sound

The Truthear GATE is a single dynamic driver in-ear monitor designed to provide a balanced combination of sound quality, comfort and accessibility. It features a 10 mm dynamic driver with an internal magnetic circuit and a newly developed diaphragm combining a Carbon LCP dome with an ultra-thin PU suspension.

The GATE is designed to deliver controlled bass, clear mids and detailed high frequencies while keeping distortion low and maintaining a lightweight construction suitable for extended listening sessions.

Its PC+ABS shell, detachable cable and multiple included ear tip options make it a versatile choice for music, gaming and everyday listening.

10 mm Dynamic Driver

At the heart of the Truthear GATE is a 10 mm dynamic driver with an internal dual-cavity magnetic structure.

The driver uses a diaphragm with a Carbon LCP dome and an ultra-thin polyurethane suspension. This combination is designed to improve diaphragm rigidity while maintaining the flexibility required for controlled low-frequency reproduction.

The magnetic structure is also optimized to provide consistent driver movement and stable performance across the frequency range.

Carbon LCP Diaphragm

One of the key features of the GATE is its diaphragm material.

The Carbon LCP dome is designed to provide greater rigidity than conventional diaphragm materials, helping improve high-frequency response and overall control.

An ultra-thin PU suspension works alongside the Carbon LCP dome to support low-frequency movement while maintaining a balanced response.

This allows the Truthear GATE to reproduce the full frequency range using a single dynamic driver rather than relying on a more complex multi-driver configuration.

Low Distortion Performance

The GATE is designed with low distortion in mind.

Reduced distortion helps provide cleaner sound reproduction and improved clarity across different frequencies, particularly during more complex musical passages.

The official THD specification is ≤1% at 1 kHz and 94 dB, while the optimized driver structure is designed to maintain controlled performance throughout normal listening levels.

Low distortion can also make the GATE more suitable for users who want to apply EQ without introducing unnecessary coloration.

Balanced Sound Signature

The Truthear GATE is tuned to provide a balanced and versatile listening experience.

The bass delivers enough presence and impact to give music body without overwhelming the rest of the presentation.

The midrange is designed to keep vocals and instruments clear and natural, while the upper frequencies benefit from the improved rigidity of the Carbon LCP diaphragm.

This balance makes the GATE suitable for a wide variety of music genres and users who prefer a sound signature that is not excessively focused on a single frequency range.

Lightweight and Ergonomic Design

The shell is made from a PC+ABS composite, helping reduce weight while maintaining structural stability.

The shape is designed for a secure and comfortable fit, making the IEMs suitable for longer listening sessions.

A transparent faceplate gives the GATE a clean and modern appearance, while the lightweight construction helps reduce pressure during extended use.

The included ear tips also allow users to adjust the fit according to their ear shape and comfort preferences.

Detachable OFC Cable

The Truthear GATE includes a high-quality oxygen-free copper cable.

Its multi-core construction is designed to provide a reliable connection while reducing tangling during transport and everyday use.

The cable connects through a universal 0.78 mm 2-pin interface, allowing it to be replaced if necessary or swapped for another compatible cable.

This detachable design can help extend the lifespan of the IEMs, as cable damage does not require replacing the entire earphone.

Easy to Pair with Different Audio Sources

With an impedance of 28 Ω ±15% at 1 kHz and a sensitivity of 122 dB/Vrms at 1 kHz, the GATE can be used with a wide range of compatible audio sources.

It can be paired with computers, DACs, audio interfaces, portable music players and mobile devices with a suitable output or adapter.

The specified frequency response extends from 10 Hz to 45 kHz, while the effective frequency response is rated from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

This makes the GATE practical for both dedicated audio setups and everyday portable use.

A Versatile Option for Music and Gaming

The Truthear GATE combines a 10 mm dynamic driver, lightweight construction, low distortion and a detachable cable in a simple and accessible package.

For music, its balanced tuning aims to provide clear detail without becoming overly fatiguing during longer sessions.

For gaming, the compact IEM format offers a lightweight alternative to traditional headsets while maintaining detailed sound reproduction.

The replaceable cable and multiple ear tip options also give users more flexibility when adjusting th…
