Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need trees or an overhead beam to hang this hammock chair?

A: Not at all! The Orchid C20 features a completely freestanding design with its own integrated stand. You can set it up on a beach, a rocky campsite, a backyard patio, or even inside your living room without worrying about finding the perfect trees.

Q: How difficult is the frame assembly?

A: It requires zero assembly or tools. The chair uses a smart, integrated quick-fold system. You can unfold the entire frame and seat structure in about 3 seconds flat. Packing it back down into its included shoulder-strap carry bag is just as fast and simple.

Q: Will the chair tip over or sway aggressively when I sit in it?

A: No, safety and stability are where this chair shines. Unlike standard four-point camp chairs or single-point hanging hammocks, the Orchid C20 utilizes a reinforced 3D triangular cross-frame with a specialized six-point ground contact design. This balances and distributes your weight evenly in all directions, completely eliminating the tipping risks or violent swaying of traditional swings.

Q: How does the detachable footrest work, and can I use the chair without it?

A: Yes, it is fully modular! The footrest frame easily clips into place to give you continuous, ergonomic support from head to toe, contouring to the natural curve of your legs. If you prefer to sit upright with your feet firmly on the ground (like a traditional campfire chair), you can detach the footrest frame in seconds and store it away.

Q: Can I adjust the recline angle, or is it fixed?

A: The recline is fully customizable. The backrest angle is connected to heavy-duty webbing straps equipped with secure ladder-lock buckles. While sitting in the chair, you can easily pull or release the straps to switch smoothly between sitting straight up to chat and eat, or reclining deeply for a weightless afternoon nap.
