Two-Piece Ceramic Heat Deflector

The Saffire Two-Piece Heat Deflector opens up a whole new world of indirect cooking on your kamado grill. With this ceramic heat deflector, you can slow cook, smoke and bake on your Saffire. The heat deflector redirects the heat rising up from the burning embers in the bottom of your grill to cook the food evenly from all directions at once! Use it to thoroughly cook your food after a quick, high-heat searing, or turn the temperature down and use the heat deflector to smoke for long hours without burning your food. Use both halves of the heat deflector together to bake in your kamado grill just like an old-style ceramic oven, or use one half of the heat deflector to create a slow-cook zone, so you can sear steaks on one half of the cooking grid and then set them aside to cook all the way through!

Smoke salmon or ribs, bake some smokey-flavored baguettes or pot pies, and, of course, grill burgers and hot dogs. Your cooking possibilities really will feel endless!
