4.5 cm Stretcher Bars — For Frames up to 100 cm

Our 4.5 cm-wide stretcher bars are the perfect choice for creating sturdy, precise frames up to 100 cm in width or length. Designed for tufting cloth, artist canvas, or canvas prints, these custom-cut bars offer a professional and secure stretch every time.

If you’re building a larger frame (over 100 cm), we recommend using our 6.5 cm stretcher bars for extra strength and rigidity.

Crafted from laminated pine wood, each bar is kiln-dried to 15% moisture content for maximum stability and to prevent warping. The raised bead edge (kraalrand) keeps your fabric lifted from the wood, preserving your artwork and preventing visible frame marks.

The bars fit together easily using a traditional tongue-and-groove connection, ensuring a perfect fit and strong corner joints. Once assembled, simply staple your tufting cloth or canvas to the frame for a smooth, professional finish.
