'Elephant' Wallpaper by Mary Maguire - Cadet

Drawing on something bold and dusky, 'Elephant' wallpaper by Mary Maguire presents a gray ceremonial elephant that sits slightly lighter than its medium slate blue ground. The animals repeat in staggered rows at a scale that holds entry halls, playrooms, and nurseries. Marigold-orange blankets with dots and fringe cut warm against the chalky uneven wash, and white tusks give each figure a bright edge.

Mary Maguire's animals come out of eighteenth and nineteenth century natural history drawing, a tradition she has returned to for years. Pairs beautifully with pale oak, white painted woodwork, and antique brass. An original Mary Maguire design for Wallshoppe.
