'Elephant' Wallpaper by Mary Maguire - Ivory

'Elephant' wallpaper by Mary Maguire arrives in Ivory, a warm off-white cream with the faintest wash mottling, light and simple and sunlit. A single animal in profile carries a saffron blanket covered in brown dots and finished with fringe. The figures are evenly offset and read very large, which suits nurseries, playrooms, and entry halls; gray hatched hide and white tusks hold the drawing together.

Mary Maguire's animals come out of eighteenth and nineteenth century natural history drawing, a tradition she has returned to for years. Pairs beautifully with pale oak, white painted woodwork, and antique brass. An original Mary Maguire design for Wallshoppe.
