'Elephant' Wallpaper by Mary Maguire - Parchment

In Parchment, 'Elephant' wallpaper by Mary Maguire offers a warm, earthy quiet: a single ceremonial animal in profile on a pale sand ground with soft wash mottling. The figures repeat in offset rows and read very large, which gives nurseries, playrooms, and entry halls one clear motif to work around. Orange blankets with brown dots, a scalloped border and fringe warm the gray hide and white tusks.

Mary Maguire's animals come out of eighteenth and nineteenth century natural history drawing, a tradition she has returned to for years. Pairs beautifully with pale oak, white painted woodwork, and antique brass. An original Mary Maguire design for Wallshoppe.
