Antique French Bronze Wall Sconces – Vintage Ornate Candle Holders

Drama, character, and craftsmanship come together beautifully in this antique pair of French bronze wall candle sconces.

Richly decorated with elaborate scrolling details and architectural lines, these pieces instantly bring the feeling of an old French chateau into a home.

Their ornate design feels sculptural even before adding candles. The warm aged bronze has developed a patina over time. These are heavy, quality pieces with real presence.

An interesting detail: these sconces appear to have been adapted or intended for electrification at some point in their history, as openings for wiring are already present within each candle holder. This means they can continue their life as traditional candle sconces or potentially be re-electrified and transformed into wall lamps if desired.

Beautiful placed beside a mirror, fireplace, entryway, dining room table, or in a French country interior where collected pieces tell a story.
