The probe length is 4.5 inches (114mm).

Is the battery included?

There is a 3.7V lithium battery inside the thermometer, it can be charged by using type-C charged wires.

Does the Pocket Pro have a magnet built-in to be able to stick it to metal appliances?

Yes, it has.

How deep should I need to insert it to get an accurate reading?

The thermometer receives temperature data from the conical portion of the probe tip, please insert the probe tip in the position where you need to measure the temperature.

Does the display show the temperature in Celsius?

Yes, you could just press “℃/℉” to select the display unit.

Can it be used to check refrigerator and freezer temperatures?

We recommend that you use a fridge,freezer thermometer as they are specifically designed for this purpose.

Are the Pocket Pro waterproof or dishwasher safe?

The water resistant level of the thermometer is IP66, it is water proof. But it isn’t dishwasher safe.

How do you clean this?

Clean the probe by wiping it with a damp cloth and kitchen cleaner. Do not submerse it in liquid.

Does it have auto power off?

If the current temperature is lower than 102℉ and the change value is lower than ±3℉ for 10 minutes, the thermometer will turn off automatically.

Is the thermometer accurate for restaurant use?

Yes, it is.

Can I measure the temperature of hot oil?

Yes, it can.

What is the accuracy of this thermometer?

The accuracy of this thermometer is ±0.7℉ (±0.4℃) from 32 to 212℉ (0 to 100℃), ±1℉ (±1.8℃) thereafter.

Yes, it can get the reading in 1 second.

How long can the battery last?

Batteries can be used for 1000 hours when fully charged and rechargeable after running out of charge.
