Keep Your Baking Steel Clean Without Damaging the Surface
Our Cleaning Bricks are the tool we reach for when it’s time to deep clean the Baking Steel. Whether you’re dealing with rust, burnt-on cheese, or old oil buildup, these bricks cut through grime without scratching the seasoned surface.
Made from compressed recycled glass, they’re safe, effective, and eco-friendly — and they work on more than just the Baking Steel.
Why You'll Love Them:
• Removes rust, oil, and baked-on food easily
• Safe for your Baking Steel’s seasoning layer
• Made from recycled glass no harsh chemicals
• Works on cast iron, pizza stones, griddles, and more
• Pack of 4 — long-lasting and reusable
How to Use:
• Let your Baking Steel cool completely
• Gently scrub the surface with the Cleaning Brick
• Wipe clean with a dry cloth or paper towel
• Apply a light coat of oil if needed and store dry
Safe on oven glass when used properly. Always keep the brick wet and apply light, even pressure. Aggressive dry scrubbing may cause minor surface scratches.
Pro Tip: After a deep clean, give your Steel a quick re-season to keep that non-stick surface going strong. Want a full guide? Click here to learn how to season your Baking Steel.
