Antique Neoclassical Alabaster Urn Vase – Medici Borghese Vase Bacchanalian Decor

This beautiful antique alabaster vase is a striking decorative piece inspired by classical antiquity. Its elegant shape recalls the famous Medici vase or Borghese vase, with a flared rim, carved pedestal base, and a richly sculpted body.

Its carved relief decoration evokes a Bacchanalian scene, possibly representing Hercules among nymphs and bacchantes.

The alabaster has a warm ivory tone, darker age marks, and subtle surface variations. The carved relief is softened by time.

Whether displayed on a mantel, library shelf, console table, or integrated into a French country or classical interior, this piece instantly brings an old-world atmosphere.
