Vintage French Agricultural Fair Award Plaque Sign 1962

This authentic French agricultural fair award plaque dates from 1962 and was awarded at the Concours Agricole Départemental d’Amiens. It celebrates a 3rd prize for young Large White breeding pigs, preserving a moment from a world of traditional farming, livestock competitions, and local pride.

Its deep green background and worn gold lettering give it wonderful character. Time has softened the finish, creating exactly the kind of patina we love.

This is the kind of decorative object that feels at home in a French country kitchen, gallery wall, or antique collection.
