Large Vintage French Hammered Copper Fish Poacher with Lid and Fish Rack

With its long shape, hammered copper surface, dark iron handles, and matching lid, this large French fish poacher carries the kind of character only decades of use can create.

Traditionally used in France for cooking whole fish, it comes complete with its original removable perforated fish rack, allowing fish to be lifted easily after cooking.

The hand-hammered copper exterior catches the light beautifully.

Unlike many decorative copper pieces, this fish poacher remains functional. The interior is in very good condition, meaning it can continue serving its original purpose for fish cooking while also becoming a striking decorative statement piece.

Whether used for cooking, displayed on a kitchen island, or repurposed as an extraordinary centerpiece, this is one of those pieces that immediately gives a home a collected European feel.
