Liposomal Spermidine

Liposomal Spermidine is one capsule a day built around 5 mg of spermidine, with zinc, vitamin D3, folate and the B vitamins B1, B6 and B12 alongside it.

Zinc has a role in the process of cell division. One capsule provides 12.5 mg, which is 125% of the daily reference intake.

Spermidine itself is a polyamine. Your body makes it, and you also eat it: wheat germ, aged cheese, mushrooms and soy are the usual dietary sources. It has become one of the most-studied molecules in longevity research over the past ten years, and that research is still in progress. We describe it as what it is, a compound under study, rather than promising what it does.

The 5 mg is spermidine itself, not an extract standardised to some fraction of it, and it is delivered in liposomal form. Liposomes are microscopically small spheres of fat-like material that enclose the ingredient and shield it on its way through the digestive tract, a technique that matters most for ingredients that are less stable on their own.

The supporting nutrients are there for a reason: vitamin D3 at 25 µg, folate at 200 µg, zinc at 12.5 mg, and B1, B6 and B12, the last at 500 µg.
